ACA is a classical, Christian ecumenical school with a strong orthodox biblical foundation, an emphasis on basic skills and the liberal arts, and a special emphasis on the study of Latin at the heart of our educational philosophy. We are located in Auburn, Alabama.

Teacher qualifications include a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree, the display of sound scholarship, commitment to and willingness to learn a classical teaching philosophy, a passion for learning, evidence of superior teaching ability, and an unwavering commitment to our Lord Jesus Christ.
Position:
• Third-Grade Lead Teacher
Responsibilities:
• Teach Third Grade using the curriculum supplied by the administration of Auburn Classical Academy.
• Lead the classroom with traditional pedagogy and create a safe learning environment for students.
• Attend Memoria Press annual training workshops in July and/or January and consume additional training and professional development content as determined by the administration.
• Attend mandatory school-related events (orientations, faculty & staff meetings, parent nights, open house, etc.)
• Full time employees are expected to take on one or more additional duties such as car line, lunch supervision, leading morning assembly, etc. Other tasks may be required as determined by Administrator.
Schedule:
• Monday-Thursday: 7:30-3:30
• Friday: grading and planning day, work from home, and occasional in-school days or field trips.
