St. George Classical School is a small startup K-8 classical Christian school in the Anglican tradition located in Lexington, VA. We are seeking a full-time teacher (part-time also considered) for our Kindergarten to 2nd grade cycle. Qualified candidates will possess a bachelor’s degree in the liberal arts or related field, have a working knowledge of classical educational principles and methods, and experience teaching in a multi-age classroom setting or a willingness to be trained in such a setting. The ideal candidate is a mature Christian who loves to help young minds develop the basic skills of reading and writing so that they might develop a desire to study God’s world.
