Smith Preparatory Academy, a growing Christian classical school in Northeast Orlando, Florida, has multiple positions open for the 2022-23 academic year. At Smith Prep, we view education as a transfer of a way of life. Christian education shapes our sensibilities and directs our dispositions. It forms our character and cultivates virtue. It applies the Gospel to each student, forming and instructing the whole student to live as becomes a follower of Jesus Christ.
We are accepting resumes for:
• Lower school instructors
• Lower school teaching assistants
• Upper school instructors (Bible, Logic, Government, History)
Our school runs a Traditional 4-day program concurrently with a Cottage 2-day program. Teachers instruct Monday through Thursday, attending training and/or field trips 1-2 Fridays per month. Teaching assistant schedules vary.
Teacher applicants should have a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a closely related field, the gift of teaching, and an abiding faith in Christ. Experience teaching in a classical school and/or graduate degrees are preferred.
