Duties and responsibilities include the following:

Understand classical education and are aligned with the school’s mission.
Elevate classroom learning to develop students’ sense of wonder and a love of learning.
Create a classroom environment that is conducive to learning, and develops a culture of excellence.
Work cooperatively with True North’s instructional coaches to learn from feedback and improve the quality of instruction.
Communicate with parents regularly regarding all aspects of their child’s performance and make provisions for being available outside normal hours; work with parents to encourage participation in their child’s learning experiences.
Desired Skills & Experience

Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate degree from a fully accredited college or university.
Certification is not required to teach at True North.
Candidates must be familiar with and align with the classical liberal arts curriculum and philosophy employed at True North Classical Academy.
Candidates must see education as a vocation and are willing to go above and beyond the call of duty for the success of all students.
