Position: Latin Teacher
About the Role
We are seeking a passionate Latin teacher to join our high school faculty. This role requires a deep love for classical languages and the liberal arts, as well as a strong foundation in Latin. The ideal candidate will also have the ability to introduce Ancient Greek to junior and senior students in the future, fostering a curriculum where students read and discuss classical texts in their original languages.
Key Responsibilities
– Teach Latin to high school students, instilling a love for classical languages and the liberal arts.
– Collaborate closely with school leaders, colleagues, students, and parents to support an engaging, classical curriculum.
– Inspire students by teaching both Latin and, eventually, introductory Ancient Greek, ensuring students are able to read and discuss classical texts.
