Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Grammar School Principal at Canterbury Classical School in Asheville, NC. The Grammar School Principal will oversee the implementation and management of the classical curriculum, provide leadership to both the teaching staff and the student body, ensure adherence to educational objectives, and support teachers in maintaining academic excellence. Responsibilities also include promoting a positive school culture, guiding grammar school initiatives, and maintaining effective communication with families.
Qualifications
Knowledge of classical education principles
Proven skills in Educational Leadership and the ability to mentor and guide teaching staff and students
Strong Communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and faculty
Experience working with Grammar School education and understanding the academic and developmental needs of students in this age group
Background in Education and a deep commitment to fostering student success
Bachelor’s degree in Education, Educational Leadership, or a related field (preferred)
Prior experience as a school principal or in a leadership role within an educational setting is a plus.
